THE LOST TREASURE OF THE MAYANS named a Quarter-Finalist at the Emerging Screenwriters Action & Adventure Screenplay Competition
EARLY SUMMER 2025 SCREENPLAY COMPETITION PLACEMENTS
My refresh of my comic action – adventure screenplay “THE LOST TREASURE OF THE MAYANS” won Best Script in that category at the Los Angeles Film & Script Festival.
My comedy “DON’T EAT PAPER!” is a Semi-Finalist at the San Antonio Film Festival (final adjudication at the end of the month); a current Quarter-Finalist at Nashville and a Quarter-Finalist at Stage 32 Romantic Comedy competition. (“LIMPING TOWARDS BABYLON” is a Quarter-Finalist at the latter competition.)
“PRAY WITH A BULLET”
is a SEMI-FINALIST in the 1st Annual Fade In Fellowship.
And finally, my comic short script (adapted from the play of the same name) “A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE” is a SEMI-FINALIST for Outstanding Shorts….

A Selection form THE LOST TREASURE OF THE MAYANS to be read at the Beaufort International Film Festival (2025)
THE LOST TREASURE OF THE MAYANS – just a fun Indiana Jones-esque romp. The Beaufort Film Festival (in South Carolina) has it as one of the 5 Official Selections. The unusual thing about this festival is that they present 5 or so pages as a public reading with local actors. (Unfortunately I can’t be there, but it’s a very cool thing, happening at 5 pm EST tomorrow Feb. 20, 2025 – free admission – https://www.beaufortfilmfestival.com/schedule-of-events ).
